About this Apprenticeship
DEKRA's Electrical and Building Services division inspects safety systems and supports renewable energy projects. Regional teams help keep industrial facilities and buildings safe. Please state whether you would like to work in Vechta or at another of the more than 70 branches.
What You'll Learn
- Independently inspect safety systems in buildings and industrial facilities, including electrical systems, emergency power supplies, emergency lighting, fire detection and alarm systems
- Carry out quality checks during construction and prepare expert reports, including measurements
- Work independently or with colleagues in your region, supported by qualified back office staff
- Support customers in ensuring that official and legal requirements are met
- Use your network to expand the customer base and grow the business
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
- Professional experience in the planning, construction and operation of electrical systems
- Recognition as an expert or knowledge of building law and the technical systems to be inspected, along with experience writing expert reports, is desirable
- Strong communication skills to write clear and precise reports and expert assessments
- German spoken and written fluently enough to negotiate is required
- An independent, reliable and flexible approach to work
- Confident use of MS Office and mobile apps
- Category B driving licence and willingness to carry out field work around your home area
