Supply Engineering Engineer as Expert for Ventilation, Smoke Extraction and Fire Extinguishing Systems

In the Electrical and Building Technology department, DEKRA inspects safety systems and supports renewable energy projects. Those not yet recognized as building-law experts can join the training program.

• Your area of responsibility includes independently inspecting safety systems in buildings and industrial plants. These include ventilation, smoke extraction, pressurization, CO warning and extinguishing systems
• You carry out construction-accompanying quality control and prepare expert reports including measurements
• In your region you work independently or in a team with colleagues and are supported by qualified back office staff
• You support our customers in ensuring compliance with official and legal regulations
• You use your network to expand the customer base and grow the business

• Academic university degree in supply engineering, energy or building technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Professional experience in planning, calculating, building and operating building services systems
• Recognition or extensive knowledge of technical building regulations, building law and the trades to be inspected, plus experience writing expert reports, is desirable
• Expressive skills to write meaningful and precise reports and expert opinions
• Negotiation-level, professional German skills (level C1), spoken and written, required
• Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
• Routine use of MS Office
• Class B driving licence and willingness to work in the field around your home
