Engineer in Building Services as Expert for Ventilation, Smoke Extraction and Fire Extinguishing Systems

The Electrical and Building Technology department inspects safety systems and supports renewable energy projects. If you are not yet recognized as a building-law expert, you can join a training program.

• Independently inspect safety systems in buildings and industrial plants, including ventilation, smoke extraction, pressure ventilation, CO warning and extinguishing systems
• Carry out construction-accompanying quality control and create expert reports including measurements
• Work independently or in a team in your region, supported by qualified back office staff
• Support customers in ensuring official and legal requirements are met
• Use your network to expand the customer base and grow the business

• University degree in building services, energy or building technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Experience in planning, calculation, construction and operation of building services systems
• Recognition or extensive knowledge of technical building regulations, building code law and the trades to be inspected, plus experience writing expert reports, desirable
• Expressive skills to write meaningful and precise reports and expert opinions
• Fluent, expert German skills (level C1), spoken and written, required
• Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Driving licence class B and willingness to work in the field around your place of residence.
