About this Apprenticeship
Assess the condition and value of used vehicles in the used vehicle management department. New technologies, electronic control unit diagnostics, ongoing technical training and experienced colleagues support your development into an expert.
What You'll Learn
- Use your automotive expertise to assess the condition and value of used vehicles
- Determine vehicle values using standard appraisal and calculation systems and used vehicle management systems
- Inspect existing damage and calculate repair costs
- Independently manage and support the used vehicle return process for our clients
- Coordinate leased vehicle returns and prepare reports on loss of value
Requirements
- Journeyman or master craftsperson qualification as an automotive technician, automotive mechatronics technician, vehicle painter or in vehicle body and vehicle construction
- Several years of professional experience in specialist areas of vehicle appraisal
- Knowledge of expert systems such as DAT, Schwacke and Audatex is an advantage
- A proactive, service-focused approach and strong commitment to quality
- Category B driving licence and willingness to work locally in the field
