Vehicle Valuer

As a vehicle valuer at DEKRA Automobil in Lübeck, you assess the condition and value of used vehicles, calculate repair costs and manage used vehicle and lease returns. The role includes local fieldwork.

• Use your automotive expertise to assess the condition and value of used vehicles
• Accurately value vehicles using standard valuation and costing tools and used vehicle management systems
• Inspect existing damage and calculate repair costs
• Independently manage and support the used vehicle return process for clients
• Coordinate lease returns and prepare assessments of reductions in vehicle value

• A journeyman or master craft qualification as an automotive technician, automotive mechatronics technician, painter, or in vehicle bodywork and construction
• Several years of professional experience in specialist areas of vehicle valuation
• Knowledge of expert systems such as DAT, Schwacke and Audatex is an advantage
• A proactive, service-focused approach and a strong commitment to quality
• A category B driving licence and willingness to carry out local fieldwork
