About this Apprenticeship
The Used Car Management department relies on innovative solutions to support the used car trade efficiently and professionally. Newly developed technologies and control unit diagnostics, ongoing technology training and constant access to the latest information and experienced contacts are available to you, so you can grow from employee to expert and contribute significantly to the team's success.
What You'll Learn
- With your automotive expertise, you assess the condition and value of used motor vehicles
- Using standard valuation and calculation systems and used car management systems, you appraise the value of vehicles properly
- You also inspect existing damage and calculate repair costs
- You independently take responsibility for and oversee the used car return process at our clients
- You also coordinate lease returns and carry out diminished value reports
Requirements
- Journeyman or master craftsperson qualified as a vehicle technician, automotive mechatronics technician, painter, or in body and vehicle construction
- Several years of professional experience in specialist segments of vehicle appraisal
- Knowledge of expert systems such as DAT, Schwacke and Audatex is an advantage
- Proactive and service-oriented way of working and a high level of quality awareness
- Class B driving licence and willingness to work locally in the field
