About this Apprenticeship
The used car management department relies on innovative solutions to support the used car trade efficiently and professionally. Newly developed technologies and control unit diagnostics, continuous technology training, and constant access to the latest information and experienced contacts are available to you, so you can grow from employee to expert.
What You'll Learn
- With your automotive expertise, you assess the condition and value of used motor vehicles
- Using standard valuation and calculation systems and used car management systems, you properly determine the value of vehicles
- You also inspect existing damage and calculate repair costs
- You independently take charge of and support the used car return process at our clients
- You also coordinate lease returns and carry out diminished value reports
Requirements
- Qualified automotive mechatronics technician or a qualification in body and vehicle construction trades; with a master craftsman or technician qualification, there is an option for further training to become a damage assessor
- Professional experience in specific vehicle valuation segments desirable
- Knowledge of expert systems such as DAT, Schwacke and Audatex is an advantage
- Proactive, service-oriented way of working and a high level of quality awareness
- Class B driving licence and willingness to work locally in the field
