Vehicle Inspection and Assessment Expert / Technical Specialist

DEKRA Automobil GmbH is seeking a vehicle inspection and assessment expert to work as a technical specialist in Klettwitz. The role involves providing technical support to employees, preparing technical information and helping develop relevant standards.

• Provide telephone support to TP/ÜO/TD employees on regulations, their interpretation and processes, directly supporting field staff.
• Prepare instructions, assist with inspections and measurements, and contribute to expert reports.
• Continuously develop and maintain procedural instructions, work instructions and Iris information to keep important information available.
• Answer questions about processes and general principles through our hotline and act as a knowledgeable contact.
• Develop teaching materials, hold technical discussions and support employees' technical qualifications as part of initial and further training.
• Create and maintain aaSoP/PI/TD technical information and ensure it is available in the expert production application (SVPA).
• Contribute your expertise to national and, where applicable, international committees and actively help develop relevant standards.

• University degree in a technical or engineering field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• You are familiar with the required technical responsibilities as an aaSoP or an employee of the Technical Service (TD) with signing authority (RBE).
• You have extensive knowledge of national and international regulations, including the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO), EC regulations and ECE regulations.
• Your strong communication skills enable you to explain complex subjects clearly.
• You have very good spoken and written German and English and can communicate confidently in both languages.
