About this Apprenticeship
DEKRA's Plant Technology department has inspected industrial plants for around 20 years, including pressure equipment, water-hazardous substances, explosive areas, transport containers for hazardous materials and goods, and joining technology. As an expert, you inspect facilities handling water-hazardous substances under AwSV and advise customers.
What You'll Learn
- You are responsible for carrying out initial and recurring inspections of facilities handling water-hazardous substances under AwSV
- You create clear and meaningful inspection reports and expert opinions
- You may also carry out explosion protection inspections; we offer internal training in explosion protection for this
- With your expertise you advise our customers on the safety of their facilities and use your network to grow your customer base
Requirements
- Academic university degree in process engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in planning, building or inspecting facilities handling water-hazardous substances
- Routine use of MS Office
- Good English skills for communicating with business partners
- Strong expression to create meaningful and precise documentation and reports
- Independent, reliable and customer-oriented way of working
- Class B driving licence and willingness to work locally in the field
