Expert Electrical Engineering LBO

The Electrical and Building Technology department is responsible for inspecting safety systems in special buildings of all types and sizes. As part of approval procedures, building law certificates and expert reports are prepared. The team also carries out on-site technical inspections of electrical and medical devices as well as inspections of systems for renewable energy.

• Carrying out inspections of fire detection and alarm systems as well as safety power supply and safety lighting systems according to the state building code
• Independently carrying out initial and recurring inspections of electrical systems
• Advising our customers on considering and complying with regulatory and legal requirements
• Providing technical advice to our customers on the findings from the inspections
• Competent contact person for our customers and using the existing network to expand the customer base

• Degree in electrical engineering or a comparable degree with an electrical engineering focus, ideally with recognition as an expert under VDS guidelines
• Recognition as a certified inspection expert under the state building code for fire detection and alarm systems and/or safety power supply and safety lighting systems
• Several years of professional experience in the operation, planning, construction or maintenance of electrical systems
• Sound knowledge of the relevant legal, regulatory and technical requirements as well as relevant standards and guidelines, and routine use of MS Office
• Strong writing skills to produce meaningful and precise documentation and reports
• Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
• Class B driving licence
