Accident Analyst Traffic Accidents / Vehicle Expert for Accident Reconstruction

DEKRA is looking for an accident analyst and vehicle expert for accident reconstruction in Koblenz. You clarify traffic accidents, inspect vehicles and prepare expert reports, including for court proceedings.

• As an accident analyst, you lay the foundation for clarifying accidents and also support the police with on-site accident recording
• With your trained eye for detail, you inspect vehicles for technical defects during traffic checks and after traffic accidents
• Your strong technical understanding and spatial imagination enable you to analyze accident events or verify measurement results from police traffic monitoring
• Based on your investigations, you prepare expert reports, including those for court proceedings
• Similarly skilled, you attend court hearings as an expert and reliably give oral expert opinions in the respective legal disputes
• Through your expertise, forensic competence and trustworthy, reliable personality, you are an important advisor (m/f/d) for our clients

• University degree as an engineer in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a degree in industrial engineering with a technical focus
• Training and initial professional experience in the automotive field are an advantage
• Professional experience in accident reconstruction or analysis and investigation of traffic accidents
• Routine use of MS Office
• Strong writing skills to produce meaningful and precise documentation, reports and expert opinions
• Independent, responsible and solution-oriented way of working as well as a reliable manner
• Driving licence classes A, B and CE
• High adaptability, on-call duty at unusual working times
