What awaits you in your apprenticeship: You maintain electrical systems along the rails – primarily you are outdoors in the fresh air. During your apprenticeship, you will familiarize yourself with the maintenance and repair of signaling and safety technology, such as signals, switch motors, and level crossings. Inspection, maintenance, and upkeep of signaling and safety technology systems will soon be part of your daily routine. Knowledge of measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures will also be taught to you. Your workday begins and ends at your regional base in Plattling, from where you set off with your team to the deployment sites.
