Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Operating Technology (Start 2027)

As an Electronics Technician for Operating Technology, you ensure the provision and distribution of electrical energy. You work with control, regulation, and drive technology equipment as well as signaling and lighting technology. You also assemble electrical devices and systems, perform measurements, wire components, establish connections, and manufacture mechanical parts. You commission energy technology systems, monitor their function, and eliminate malfunctions. We prepare you for the safe handling of electricity, as your safety is our top priority.

Install lighting and power systems. Assemble energy technology system components. Wire and commission electrical assemblies. Measure electrical and non-electrical quantities. Maintain and repair energy systems and drives. Occupational safety. Quality assurance.

Good secondary school (Hauptschule) or intermediate school (Realschule) diploma. Focus subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and German. Technical understanding and logical thinking. Good concentration ability. Teamwork skills.
