Girls@DB – Apprenticeship Train Traffic Controller on the Rail Network 2027

From 1 September 2027, DB InfraGO AG is looking for you for a 3-year apprenticeship as a railway worker in train traffic control (f/m/d) at the locations Göttingen, Hameln, Lehrte, Seelze, Wunstorf, Hannover-Linden or Hannover-Wülfel. The vocational school is in Burgdorf (Hannover region). You work in a control center (signal box), watch trains on screens or boards and set signals and switches. You are in constant contact with the train drivers. The selection process includes an aptitude assessment.

• Your colleagues show you step by step how to operate the technology in a signal box correctly
• You learn when to press the right keys and buttons to switch signals or points
• You are often in contact with other staff in train traffic control and control centers as well as train drivers
• You are an important part of our team and enable our passengers to travel safely and on time on our trains

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least B2 level
• You stay calm and keep an overview even in demanding situations
• You gladly take responsibility and work with focus
• Teamwork and reliability define you
• You are willing to work in shifts
