Master craftsperson / Electrical Engineering Technician in the Railway Power Network

DB Energie GmbH is seeking a master craftsperson or electrical engineering technician (all genders) for its railway power network in München, starting as soon as possible. This permanent, full-time role involves operating and maintaining 110 kV railway power lines.

• You help keep our 110 kV high-voltage lines for railway power running safely and reliably
• You work independently and take responsibility for operating our 110 kV railway power lines, focusing on local inspections, repairs and fault resolution under the applicable rules and guidelines
• Coordinate and manage maintenance work and assess the performance of our internal and external contractors
• You coordinate vegetation management and maintenance along our power line routes
• Your daily work includes office work, work at the power lines and on-call duties

• You hold an IHK master craftsperson qualification or a technician qualification in electrical engineering or mechatronics with a focus on electrical engineering, ideally with some initial experience as a master craftsperson or technician
• Ideally, you already have knowledge and experience in electrical engineering or a similar field
• You are comfortable working outdoors and occasionally at height
• You work very independently, carefully and responsibly, and are confident using MS Office
• You value taking responsibility and shaping your work through your own initiative
• You hold a category B driving licence
