Project Engineer Railway Infrastructure

We are looking for you as a Project Engineer Railway Infrastructure (f/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Munich location, starting as soon as possible. As a project engineer, you manage projects to renew railway infrastructure in signalling, telecommunications and electrical engineering in the southern Bavaria region. Among other things, you are responsible for building electronic and digital interlockings, level crossings and overhead lines.

• As a communication and organisation talent, you move the project forward through all service phases according to HOAI. You work closely with internal and external project participants, including residents, municipalities and authorities
• You also help with the timely tendering and awarding of services, prepare quality gates and stress tests, and carry out suitable schedule, cost and risk management
• You initiate and coordinate the planning of all trades, especially the interface with underground cable construction
• You obtain and coordinate all project-specific approvals from third parties and official requirements (e.g. planning approval decision)
• You provide input for board submissions, economic feasibility calculations and reporting
• Your role includes leading the contract-compliant and high-quality execution of planning, construction supervision and inspection services as well as all required interim and final acceptances, including plan flow coordination
• You develop, coordinate and monitor corrective measures when planning and execution deviate; you also prepare decision papers for the project manager and/or client
• In coordination with the project manager, you update costs and schedules (schedule and cost control)

• Your background is based on a vocational or university degree in electrical engineering, information technology, industrial engineering, civil engineering or a comparable course of study
• First experience in project management is desirable
• Ideally you have knowledge and/or experience in carrying out infrastructure projects or alternative construction measures
• You are creative, enjoy working on technical and commercial solutions and convince others of your ideas
• Negotiation skills and confident dealings with business partners and project participants set you apart
• Drive to shape things, commitment and resilience show in your work
• A confident manner as well as strong teamwork and communication skills round off your profile
