Career Changer for Retraining as Machine Operator Tamping Technology

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a career changer for retraining as a machine operator tamping technology (f/m/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the locations Augsburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Regensburg or Würzburg. Together with your colleagues, you will work at changing locations and get to know a wide variety of construction sites. What awaits you during your retraining: You will receive a shortened training for the operation of rail-bound large construction machines and will subsequently be deployed as a machine operator; During the retraining, you will be taught technical knowledge in practice and theory; You can expect a training period of a total of 12 months. After your retraining, you will take on the following tasks: You will independently operate and control tamping machines, high-speed ballast planing machines, dynamic track stabilizers and track measuring vehicles; Independent participation in the maintenance and repair of the machines is also part of your area of responsibility; You are responsible for the independent takeover of transfer trips between construction sites; Together with your colleagues, you will be deployed on changing construction sites nationwide (assembly work).

• You have a completed vocational training in the commercial-technical field, e.g. as a construction equipment operator, locksmith, civil engineer, bricklayer, mechatronics technician, electrician, etc., and ideally bring professional experience as a machine operator; A valid class B driver's license is required; You bring a high degree of resilience, flexibility, mobility; Teamwork, initiative, commitment and loyalty are also among your strengths; Willingness to work irregular hours as well as frequent weekend and night shifts rounds off your profile
