About this Apprenticeship
- At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as Contract and Variation Manager Expansion / Technical Building Services (f/m/d) for the major project 2nd S-Bahn main line for DB InfraGO AG at the Munich location. The project section Expansion TGA / Railway Technology is responsible for the equipment of the deep stations Hauptbahnhof, Marienhof and Ostbahnhof as well as the 7 km long tunnel connecting the stations including the 4 rescue shafts. Your tasks:
- Your central task is the implementation of a proactive and efficient contract & variation management for construction & engineering contracts in the area of expansion & technical building services
- In particular, the contractual control of contractors in construction execution, planning & construction supervision
- Your goal is to enforce the results from contract and variation negotiations in the interest of project success
- You ensure economical use of resources and budget in the area of variation processing and the timely execution of all necessary contract negotiations to adjust the order situation vis-à-vis the contractors
- You reject unjustified variations in accordance with the contract and quality standards and conduct the relevant contract correspondence in coordination with the project management
- You are also responsible for deriving cost forecasts and tracking additional cost and change notices
- This also includes the identification of variation risks and the establishment of an early warning system regarding possible unjustified claims by contractors Your profile:
- You have a completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, law, building services, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
- Experience in project management, planning, construction management or construction supervision
- Technical expertise in the area of expansion and technical building services and ideally knowledge in calculation and pricing
- Experience in tendering and/or variation management, including the assessment of construction operational contexts, as well as in-depth knowledge of VOB and HOAI and the applicable legal regulations
- You enjoy realizing a major project and approach your tasks in the team with enthusiasm
- High sense of responsibility and comprehension as well as analytical, technical and economic thinking characterize you particularly
