Train Dispatcher

We are looking for you as a train dispatcher (f/m/d) in the operations center for DB InfraGO AG at the Munich site, starting as soon as possible.

• Regulating the order of trains based on the timetable, aiming for punctual and smooth operations and stabilizing operations during disruptions on the monitored lines in the Southern region, is your area of responsibility
• Ensuring the best possible use of the infrastructure for resource-saving train journeys while treating all railway undertakings equally
• Targeted communication with train drivers for optimal driving style and with train controllers and other interface partners such as dispatchers in neighboring areas and control centers of the railway undertakings
• During disruptions you keep the overview, hold trains at suitable places and coordinate diversions
• You operate the telecommunication systems and enter data into the control systems of the operations center for optimal use of capacity, even when infrastructure is restricted

• You are a certified railway operations specialist (Fachwirt:in) or train traffic controller with several years of professional experience, an employee of a dispatching control center with experience in train dispatching, or you have a comparable qualification, e.g. as a train driver
• Sound operational knowledge and skills in railway operations, e.g. in timetabling or in operational management or planning units of a railway undertaking
• Willingness to work shifts (nights, weekends, public holidays) and flexibility, while your own work-life balance is not neglected
• You have strong teamwork and communication skills, customer orientation and are well organized
• Strong assertiveness, a sense of responsibility and the ability to reduce complexity set you apart
