Benefits Claims Assessor, Biometric Products

To strengthen the claims assessment group, DEVK is looking for a dedicated person who enjoys thoroughly reviewing complex biometric claims. Permanent, full-time, start immediately.

• You decide claims in cases of occupational disability, incapacity to work and loss of a basic ability, holistically considering insurance law, occupational, economic and medical aspects.
• You also handle death cases and cases involving possible breaches of disclosure obligations with empathy and professionalism.
• Regular reviews of the existing disability portfolio are part of your daily work, as is the conscientious handling of claims for death by accident.
• You also take care of risk withdrawals and revocations and actively contribute to developing our internal processes and projects.

• Completed training as an insurance and finance clerk (m/f/d); preferably combined with a degree.
• Several years of experience in disability benefits claims handling are desirable.
• Ideally you have further training as a specialist (m/f/d) in disability benefits claims handling (IHK), or are willing to acquire the qualification.
• Strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility.
• Structured, careful and independent way of working.
