Control Room Operator for Organic Dairy

Organic is booming! Gläserne Molkerei is a leading milk processor in the organic sector and produces specialties such as organic hay milk or an exclusive organic cheese range with around 130 employees. At our two locations in Münchehofe (Brandenburg) and Dechow (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) we process around 100 million kg of organic milk annually into various cheese specialties, drinking milk, butter, yogurt and other dairy products. Gläserne Molkerei GmbH is looking for a committed employee (m/f/d) for the control room, also known as control center or plant operator. In this responsible position you are responsible for controlling the milk flow and monitoring our production plants and play a key role in our operation.

Control and operate production plants to ensure smooth operation. Cleaning and maintenance of plants, including minor repairs, to ensure functionality. Coordination of raw material storage in tank farm as well as finished milk quantities and semi-finished products. Maintenance and updating of documentation such as execution records, AA, cleaning protocols and forms. Compliance with process parameters, IFS standards and HACCP requirements to ensure highest quality standards. Conducting necessary laboratory tests for quality control. Operating the vehicle scale and full handling of liquid transports.

You have successfully completed training as a dairy technologist, a qualified technical training or relevant professional experience in the dairy or food industry. Production experience in an industrial or food company is an advantage. You have experience in controlling automated process plants, ideally in the dairy industry. You have experience with IT systems and understanding of production processes and quality assurance. Willingness to work, own initiative, assertiveness and team-oriented work style round off your profile. You are willing to work shifts and weekends.
