You make the difference in one of our more than 2,000 dm stores, a meeting place for brands and people. As a sales assistant, you always have an open ear for our customers' wishes. Alongside your knowledge of the dm range, you impress with competent advice and make retail a pleasant experience. Your working hours are agreed with your dm store in various shifts (morning, midday, evening) from Monday to Saturday, between 8:30 and 19:00. The position is limited to 12 months. Advising: With competence and a smile, you are there for our customers and leave no question unanswered. Presenting merchandise and designing the range: Clearly arranged, sorted for customers and easy to reach from the shelf – this helps make shopping at dm enjoyable. Customer focus: With your openness and helpfulness, you make shopping at dm a pleasant experience. Passport photo service: You produce passport photos for IDs etc. according to biometric specifications. Cashiering: You ensure everything runs smoothly at the checkout and customers finish their purchase in a pleasant atmosphere. Picking express orders: You process incoming online orders and help prepare express deliveries for our customers. Designing promotional theme tables: Your creativity and organisational talent are just as needed for our sales-promoting measures. Inventory: You record stock levels and ensure through ordering that our dm store never runs out of goods.

Service mindset: With your empathy, commitment and joy in meeting people, you create the typical dm feel-good atmosphere with us. Training and professional experience: You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and already have professional experience in retail or the commercial sector. eID activation for passport photo service: To digitally transmit passport photos for our passport photo service to citizens' offices, you need the eID function activated on your ID document. Competences: You enjoy digital work and are confident using smartphones etc. You also have a perfect command of German. Team spirit and motivation: To keep daily operations running smoothly, you pitch in as a team and coordinate working hours together. When things get stressful, your composure can be relied upon. Initiative, solution orientation and desire to shape: You want to take the initiative, work independently, develop solutions and, together with our community, shape a liveable future for all.
