What You'll Learn

  • Independent development and implementation of firmware components on our embedded firmware platform
  • Design and further development of embedded software across the entire development cycle
  • Collaboration in an agile, motivated development team (Scrum)
  • Modeling, documentation, and implementation of requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducting code reviews as well as unit, integration, and system tests
  • Analysis and optimization of existing embedded systems regarding performance, stability, and security
  • Active participation in securing our systems against modern cybersecurity threats

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development
  • Very good knowledge of C and C++ on embedded systems
  • Experience with operating systems such as Zephyr or Embedded Linux
  • Experience in MCUboot, DeviceTree, Kconfig, as well as ARM Cortex-M MCUs
  • Confident handling of tools such as generative AI, Git, Jenkins, CMake, and GCC
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity in the embedded environment
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits and schematics
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Knowledge of Rust, RFID technologies, network protocols, UML, and Buildroot is also helpful
