Occupational Therapist in Neurology at DRK Clinics Berlin Westend

As an occupational therapist in neurology, you will accompany patients with neurological diseases, for example after a stroke, with Parkinson's or craniocerebral trauma. You actively promote the independence of our patients with your therapeutic measures and work closely with our interdisciplinary team. Your therapies are planned in a family-friendly way, without stress until late evening, and you have plenty of time for the individual needs of your patients. • In addition to acute inpatient care, you are also deployed on an outpatient basis
• You independently structure your working day, create findings and document therapies
• Together with colleagues, you plan therapeutic measures for our patients, which you then carry out independently
• You ensure with us that the people entrusted to us regain their autonomy and their quality of life improves
• You give our doctors important information on the physical and psychological condition of patients from the independently conducted assessments

• Completed training as an occupational therapist
• Ideal, but not required: professional experience in neurology
• Preferably with further training such as Bobath, Affolter model, F.O.T.T. (Facio-Oral Tract Therapy) as well as experience with neuropsychological training, brain performance training and/or cognitive training such as brain performance training according to Daume
