Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist for the Inpatient Acute Ward at DRK Clinics Berlin Westend

As a child and adolescent psychotherapist on our inpatient acute ward, you accompany children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21 years in acute mental crises and with mental or psychosomatic illnesses. Together with your multiprofessional team, you develop individual treatment approaches, conduct individual and group therapies as well as family and network discussions. With your therapeutic expertise, you support our patients in regaining their mental stability and developing new perspectives for their daily life. • You treat our young patients on the acute ward on an inpatient basis and conduct individual and group therapies.
• You conduct family and network discussions and involve relatives and other caregivers in the treatment process.
• You work closely with your multiprofessional team of physicians, social workers, and the nursing and educational staff.
• You independently, patient-oriented, and responsibly shape the therapeutic treatment process.

• Completed psychotherapy training with licensure as a child and adolescent psychotherapist.
• Or in advanced training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist with imminent completion.
• Knowledge in diagnostics and psychotherapeutic treatment of children and adolescents.
