About this Apprenticeship
You will work in a state-of-the-art center using the latest radiation therapy technology and top-tier equipment. A special focus is on treating people with cancer, which we accompany with great professional skill and equally great heart. You can expect a super friendly team of four specialists, five medical physicists, and a well-coordinated crew of MTRs and nursing professionals. They are all already looking forward to your support!
What You'll Learn
- You organize and schedule patient appointments in our radiation therapy
- You perform CT scans for radiation planning in addition to irradiation
- You handle a broad spectrum of special treatments (IMRT, VMAT, stereotaxy, respiratory gating and IGRT)
- You record and document treatments on the PC
Requirements
- Completed, recognized in Germany training as a Medical Technical Radiology Assistant / MTRA / Medical Technologist for Radiology / MTR with current expert knowledge
