You'll learn processes from goods ordering through goods receipt to goods presentation. You'll be trained in checkout processes and gain insights into the billing process. You'll become an important advisor for our customers by acquiring comprehensive knowledge about our products. You'll gain in-depth knowledge about merchandise management and business processes in retail. Your apprenticeship usually lasts three years – under certain conditions shortening is possible. Besides vocational school you'll attend seminars and receive thorough exam preparation, which only EDEKA and Marktkauf offer in this form, giving you practical knowledge. Seminars cover not only exam-relevant commercial topics but also deeper product expertise.
