Wind Operations Data Analysis Engineer

The Renewable Energy Production division operates around 800 facilities at more than 200 locations in Germany. The team analyses wind turbine operating data to identify anomalies early, prevent underperformance and ensure compliant operation.

Analyse and evaluate SCADA and status data to identify anomalies; develop scalable data-driven solutions and evaluation methods; support compliant and optimal facility operation; provide technical support to wind farm management when analysing performance issues with manufacturers; support the provision and plausibility checking of operational data and TR10 assessments for site quality evaluations; help validate and implement performance-enhancing measures for wind turbines.

Successfully completed master's degree in engineering, preferably in wind energy, energy engineering, renewable energy or a comparable field; experience in operational data analysis and wind energy technology; strong data skills, particularly with operational and generation data; very good programming skills in Python; solid knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, Databricks, GIT, VSCode and Azure DevOps; strong analytical and methodical abilities with an independent, structured and goal-oriented working style; team-oriented and reflective personality; good German and English skills.
