Electrical Technician for Industrial Systems Maintenance, Wastewater Network

Permanent full-time position with Hamburger Stadtentwässerung AöR in operations engineering, maintaining electrical systems in Hamburg’s wastewater network and the metropolitan region. The expected workplace is Pinkertweg; the role is also suitable for part-time work and includes on-call duty.

Operating, inspecting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in the water and wastewater network; analysing faults and resolving malfunctions; carrying out and documenting maintenance, testing and servicing work; helping optimise systems and improve workflows; participating in on-call duty and serving as a breathing-apparatus wearer when required.

Completed training as an electrical technician for industrial systems or comparable knowledge and skills; technical understanding and interest in the systems and processes of a complex water and wastewater network; knowledge of occupational safety, accident prevention and safe work in public areas; category B driving licence, with C1 or C1E licences an advantage; strong commitment, flexibility and teamwork, plus motivation for continuous professional development and building new systems knowledge.
