IT Systems Engineer Identity & Access Management

For the Data Center Infrastructure department, Hamburger Stadtentwässerung AöR (HAMBURG WASSER) is looking for an IT Systems Engineer Identity & Access Management as soon as possible. Full-time (38 hours), also suitable for part-time, with on-call duty, permanent. The team is responsible for operating the central IT infrastructure with data centers, a virtual environment, storage and firewall systems, as well as central user management and data security.

• Administration and continuous development of the directory, IAM and PKI infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environment, including connectors, conditional access, MFA and single sign-on
• Administration and optimization of the email encryption gateway for secure and legally compliant communication
• Planning, coordination and implementation of IT projects, and monitoring, documentation and further development of the supported IT systems
• Second- and third-level support, budget planning within your area of responsibility, and development, monitoring and reporting of KPIs to ensure quality and efficiency

• Successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable knowledge and skills
• Several years of professional experience in directory services, Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), ideally in a large company
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies and ideally experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, Venafi Trust Protection and Entrust HSM
• Confident use of PowerShell to automate and further develop IAM solutions
• Knowledge of virtualization and storage systems is an advantage
• Independent, conceptual and structured way of working with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
