Apprenticeship as Business Administrator in Foreign Trade

Three-year commercial apprenticeship with an international focus, including the final examination in wholesale and foreign trade and an additional qualification as a business administrator in foreign trade. The theoretical training takes place in Hamburg and London, while the practical training at HELM covers the international procurement and sale of chemical raw materials and pharmaceutical active ingredients.

Gaining insight into international purchasing and sales processes; learning how commercial decisions are prepared and implemented; developing communication, organizational and negotiation skills; working in an international environment and building an understanding of markets, products and customers.

Abitur or equivalent school qualification; very good English and basic knowledge of at least one additional foreign language; interest in commercial and international topics; basic mathematical understanding; team spirit, openness and willingness to take responsibility.
