About this Apprenticeship

All employees in each of the 123 individual companies of the Otto Group contribute daily with innovative ideas to bring us closer to our common goal: becoming best in class in all areas. The work at HANZ combines social impact with digital innovations. With meinjobbotschafter.de we support young people in getting to know apprenticeship professions and finding their way into professional life. As part of our small team, you develop technical solutions that advance our platform and our way of working. In doing so, you combine programming, generative AI and process automation with concrete practical challenges – from the further development of our digital offerings to the more efficient acquisition of new job ambassadors. Many talk about "home office" – we talk about "hybrid or mobile work": You can work up to 50% of your monthly working time remotely. Our teams decide together with their manager how to balance on-site presence and mobile work.

What You'll Learn

Develop AI solutions: You create initial AI applications and prototypes, for example a chatbot on meinjobbotschafter.de. Automate processes: You connect AI, APIs and digital tools to make mailings and communication processes more efficient. Acquire job ambassadors: You develop and test AI-supported approaches to address and activate new job ambassadors in a targeted manner. Further develop platform: You support the technical optimization of our website and platform as well as the improvement of user experience. Test new ideas: You try out AI technologies and implement suitable solutions with a view to benefit, effort and cost.
