Apprenticeship as Hospitality Service Specialist

Training as a hospitality service specialist at the Weißer Hirsch restaurant, the Achental Bar and events. The programme normally lasts two years and can be extended by one year to qualify as a specialist for restaurants and event catering.

Gain insights into five food-and-beverage outlets; create guest experiences as a host; advise guests on food and drinks; promote sales; serve food and drinks professionally; prepare coffee specialities and cocktails; organise service operations; plan and organise events; use billing and reservation systems; observe sustainability and hygiene standards.

At least a lower secondary school qualification, enthusiasm for the profession, enjoyment of working with people, strong hosting skills, organisational ability, calmness and overview during busy periods, willingness to learn, motivation, teamwork and reliability. At least B2 German and EU citizenship or a German work and residence permit are required.
