Application Consultant

To strengthen its team in Essen, the Hoffmann Group is looking for an experienced Application Consultant who will further develop the PIM landscape technically, ensure ongoing operation and act as a competent contact for internal departments and external service providers.

• Ensuring stable and reliable operation of our PIM landscape based on Informatica P360
• Developing and implementing technical solutions for the continuous further development of our PIM system landscape
• Supporting and further developing the interfaces between the PIM and connected systems
• Technical and functional management of external service providers and coordination of the collaboration
• Analysing and fixing faults as part of 2nd and 3rd level support

• Several years of experience with Informatica PIM and sound knowledge of PIM systems
• Good SQL and database skills as well as experience with interfaces and data integration
• Ideally knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a good understanding of digital product and content processes
• Experience working with external IT service providers and in agile project environments, ideally with Jira and Confluence
• Confident and assured manner towards departments, service providers and management, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Sound understanding of data structures, metadata models and data governance principles, and the ability to present information objects, responsibilities and data relationships clearly and convey them in a way that suits the audience
