Technical Application Owner

Full technical responsibility for department-specific, business-critical applications across their entire lifecycle at tk accelis GmbH in Essen. Full-time, permanent, hybrid work, flexible entry date.

• Full technical responsibility for department-specific, business-critical applications (e.g. procurement, legal & compliance, reporting, collaboration) across the entire lifecycle, from selection and introduction/transition to operation
• Assess requirements with the departments and derive the target architecture, guided by "SaaS-first" or MSP options
• Plan and manage introduction, cutover and hypercare and ensure a clear handover to operations (roles, processes, support paths)
• Ensure integration into the existing IT landscape (e.g. SSO/IAM, interfaces, data flows, role and authorization concepts, technical documentation) in line with technical and security guardrails and the cloud-first strategy
• Implement and firmly embed security & compliance by design (e.g. GDPR-compliant processing, audit trails, logging, recertifications) in close cooperation with information security
• Manage external providers and internal stakeholders, handle SLA/KPI management and drive continuous improvement of services (stability, performance, user experience)
• Establish and run ITSM-based processes (incident, problem, change), including escalation management and lasting root-cause fixes
• Be responsible for release management and further development in coordination with the departments (backlog/prioritization) as well as coordination of tests and acceptances

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, IT-related business administration or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
• Several years of experience in the technical support of business applications in the SaaS and/or MSP environment, from introduction/transition to operation
• Strong understanding of service excellence: managing SLAs/KPIs, stable services, continuous improvement, structured work with ITSM processes (incident/problem/change)
• Very good knowledge of identity & access management and SSO (preferably OIDC, SAML depending on the SaaS) including connection to central identity providers, ideally Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with integration topics (APIs, interfaces, data flows) as well as monitoring/alerting and traceable logging
• Pragmatic implementation of security and compliance requirements, ideally experience in regulated environments (e.g. GDPR, GoBD)
• Confident collaboration with departments and external service providers, safe use of tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence or comparable solutions
• High degree of initiative and drive to deliver, a constructive, team-oriented way of working with humor and joy in the job
• Very good English skills
