Frontend / HMI Developer KIRA Robotics

Our professional KIRA cleaning robots independently clean floors in large industrial areas and public spaces. We develop innovative, connected devices with complex software, sensors and hardware. Our team is growing, so we are looking for you at our site in Schwaikheim near Stuttgart.

• Design the user interface directly on the device with Vue and TypeScript
• Design operating flows that work with work gloves, while standing and under difficult hall lighting
• Ensure short start times, smooth display, low resource use and reliability on embedded systems
• Connect navigation and error logic, develop interfaces and visualize map, path and telemetry data
• Secure components with automated tests and code reviews and further develop the design system

• A degree (computer science, media informatics or similar) is a good base, but drive and solid practical experience matter more
• Absolutely confident in the modern frontend ecosystem, especially Vue (Composition API), TypeScript and current build and test tooling (experience with embedded displays or Qt/QML is a plus, not a must)
• Routine use of tools like Figma and a strong sense for ergonomics
• Familiarity with REST and WebSocket APIs, databases and container services (Docker), so you can own a feature from data source to pixel
• Passion for robotics, enjoy learning coordinate systems and a strong team player who connects with UX, navigation and cloud/IoT
