• With overall technical responsibility for robots of the KIRA platform, you assume end-to-end responsibility for the software integration status and act as the central pivot coordinating between product management, platform development, and domain teams – as the central contact person with deep, machine-specific knowledge for "your" robots.
• For a functioning and consistent overall software system, you bring together the components of all domains – purely at the software level, decoupled from the underlying hardware – actively shape the system architecture, and define clear interfaces and contracts between areas.
• In close coordination with the CI/CD pipeline, you integrate new software releases into a stable overall build, configure middleware (e.g., ROS2/DDS), and manage cross-platform feature and configuration management.
• For complex system-level challenges, you analyze cross-domain software errors regarding timing, data flows, or resources and coordinate their resolution at the logic level together with the expert teams.
• To ensure continuous function across the entire software stack, you build meaningful integration and smoke tests and verify end-to-end scenarios in simulation as well as directly on the target system.

• A successfully completed degree in robotics, computer science, software engineering, or a comparable STEM discipline forms the solid theoretical foundation of your expertise.
• Thanks to your profound experience in integrating complex, distributed software systems – ideally from the robotics, embedded, or automotive environment – you navigate demanding technological landscapes with confidence.
• With a pronounced systems and interface mindset, you drive the passion to combine diverse software components into a coherent and stable whole.
• Your technological toolkit includes excellent knowledge of Linux, C++, and Python, paired with routine handling of Git, CI/CD, CMake, Docker, and middleware (ROS/ROS2/DDS) as well as debugging distributed systems.
• Through your structured, systemic, and self-reliant way of working, your focus is on a reliable overall software status.
