Trainee Operations Financial Markets

An 18-month trainee programme in Operations Financial Markets in Stuttgart. LBBW offers insight into operational production and service processes for capital market products, along with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Taking on individual tasks and responsibility from the first day; gaining insight into operational production processes for capital market products; identifying optimisation opportunities and developing future-oriented processes; supporting managers with control and special assignments, change projects, and digitalisation and automation initiatives; analysing end-to-end processes and developing specific solutions with in-house consulting; implementing new ideas through automation, AI, APIs and data analysis, and contributing to the AI team; coordinating between internal bank departments and business partners.

Completed university degree (bachelor’s or master’s) and an interest in process management and process optimisation; ideally experience through internships or working-student roles in process management, capital markets or projects; confident use of MS Office and digital communication tools; programming skills such as Python, Access or Power BI are an advantage; structured, conceptual and creative approach; innovation, accountability, communication skills, assertiveness and confident communication in German and English.
