About this Apprenticeship
Nursing apprenticeship at LVR-Klinik Bedburg-Hau with a particular focus on caring for people with mental health conditions. The training combines lessons at the clinic's own nursing school with practical nursing duties.
What You'll Learn
- Work closely with people every day as part of a large team of nursing, medical and therapy staff
- Support patients in different life situations and be a reliable person they can turn to
- Be there for patients, listen, provide support and keep track of things even when work gets stressful
- Learn step by step to take responsibility and act independently
- Carry out nursing duties and support people in different life situations
- Gain nursing experience with a particular focus on working with people with mental health conditions
Requirements
- At least a Hauptschulabschluss after year 10
- Abitur, a university of applied sciences entrance qualification or an intermediate school leaving certificate are also welcome, or
- A Hauptschulabschluss with proof of successfully completed vocational training lasting at least two years, or
- Successful completion of another ten years of general schooling, or
- Successful completion of state regulated nursing assistant or nursing helper training lasting at least one year, together with
- The personal qualities and health needed to work in nursing
- Good spoken and written German at C1 level
- Include a cover letter, CV and your two most recent school reports with your application in German.
