About this Apprenticeship
As a float medical assistant you support our orthopedic locations in Cologne and work wherever you are needed. You get to know different teams, practices and workflows.
What You'll Learn
- Caring for and receiving our patients
- Organizing practice workflow
- Appointment management and phone
- Assisting with examinations and treatments
- Performing blood draws, vaccinations and other tasks depending on qualification
- Documentation and administrative tasks
- Supporting the respective teams in daily practice
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a medical assistant (m/f/d), MFA (m/f/d), or doctor's assistant (f/m/d)
- Experience in orthopedics desirable, but not required
- X-ray certificate desirable, but not required
- Enjoyment of a varied working environment
- Flexibility and willingness to work at different locations and in different teams
- Independent and reliable way of working
- Team spirit and a friendly, patient-oriented manner
- Driver's license an advantage, but not required, depending on assignment planning
