Intern in Powertrain Development (Mandatory Internship)

Mandatory internship in the staff unit of powertrain development (Directorate RD/E Powertrain Systems Development) at Mercedes-Benz. You support the staff team of the head of powertrain development in a highly dynamic technical environment and drive topics forward independently. The work can start from February 2027.

• Taking responsibility for and independently driving projects, e.g. designing event formats
• Optimizing methods and processes in the staff management unit
• Developing and implementing AI agents and automation solutions (e.g. with Copilot Studio) and identifying suitable AI use cases to increase efficiency in daily business
• Collecting and preparing information from different specialist departments in the area
• Supporting the staff team in daily business and project work

• Studies in media or communication sciences, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, electromobility, computer science, software engineering, mechatronics, international business, business administration or a comparable degree program
• Confident German and English skills, written and spoken
• Confident use of MS Office
• Experience creating AI agents, interest in AI applications and their use to optimize processes and efficiency
