Intern Strategic Purchasing Engine Management (Required Internship)

The Procurement and Supplier Quality department of Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans runs global purchasing and quality activities for cars and vans. The Engine Management purchasing team is responsible for global purchasing of injection, engine sensors, control units, starters and other powertrain parts. The work can begin from March 2027.

• Take part in the whole awarding process, from global inquiry through offer analysis and price negotiations to contract signing
• Help unlock potential through cost workshops and negotiations with international suppliers
• Prepare supplier evaluations and contract awards to suppliers
• Help shape sourcing strategies and benchmark activities
• Contribute to and carry out current projects

• Studies in business administration, engineering, mathematics or a similar field
• Confident German and English, spoken and written
• Confident use of MS Office
• Commitment and teamwork
• Analytical thinking and strategic way of working
