Intern Corporate Communications Business & Finance (Mandatory or Combined Internship)

As part of the global corporate communications of Mercedes-Benz AG, we inform more than 160,000 employees worldwide about business results, financial topics and macroeconomic developments. For this we use various channels and formats, from the social intranet to video talks and newsletters to dialogue events. During your internship you will research topics, develop and create your own content and accompany projects from the initial idea to implementation. Another focus of our work is internal media training for managers. In doing so, you gain an additional perspective on media and communications work. You participate in the development of new exercises and training formats and support their preparation and implementation. At the same time, you gain exciting insights into press work and interview techniques and learn a lot about professional appearances in front of camera and audience. It is precisely this mix that makes the internship particularly varied. No two days are the same. You can always expect new tasks and projects. • Participation in cross-media communication concepts, new communication formats and current projects
• Research and creation of own contributions for internal communication
• Support of the business news platform "Talking Business" including topic planning and maintenance of content in the content management system
• Design and editing of layouts, graphics and photos
• Participation in group-wide internal communication on quarterly results and annual general meeting
• Support in the preparation and implementation of virtual and personal dialogue formats for employees
• Participation in the conception of new exercises and formats for internal media training including the creation of training materials and support in the implementation of the training

• Degree program in communication studies, media studies, business administration, social sciences, journalism, public relations, marketing or a comparable course of study
• Secure German and English skills in word and writing
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• First experiences with Adobe programs as well as AI (artificial intelligence) assistance systems are an advantage
• Strong communication skills and creativity
• High curiosity, initiative and a structured and reliable way of working
• First practical experiences in journalism or press work are desirable
• Please note that your internship at this location must have a mandatory internship component.
