Checkout Supervisor

As a checkout supervisor at METRO in München, you ensure that outgoing goods are recorded and accounted for correctly. This is a full-time temporary position. The job advertisement has expired.

• Coordination: Manage the checkout process and ensure it runs smoothly for our customers
• Cash handling and change control: Handle cash collection, change checks and change distribution securely, recognising the care required when dealing with money
• Checkout reconciliation: Ensure that outgoing goods are recorded and accounted for correctly, while following internal rules and legal requirements

• Training: Completed vocational training in commerce, such as wholesale or retail, or relevant practical experience
• Leadership experience: Experience in a comparable position that has taught you how to lead and motivate a team
• Experience and knowledge: Strong cashier skills, familiarity with checkout procedures and confident use of MS Office
• Customer focus: Enjoyment of working with people and enthusiasm for retail that help keep customers satisfied with our service
• Reliability: A careful, responsible approach to work and the ability to remain calm even when the store is busy
• Willingness to work: Willingness to work a two-shift schedule
