Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Operating Technology 2027

During your apprenticeship you will learn step by step how to install, test and commission electrical systems and equipment. In parallel you gain practical experience in technical customer service. You will learn to understand the electrical and electronic functions of household appliances, analyse faults and carry out repairs. On site you support our service technicians and develop a feel for customer‑oriented solutions. In addition, the vocational school and the training workshop of our partner Siemens teach you the necessary electrical engineering fundamentals. The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years with the possibility of shortening. Teaching format: block lessons alternating with practical phases in Siemens' training workshop and in Miele's technical field service.

After your apprenticeship you will maintain and repair high‑quality Miele household appliances directly at our customers' premises in close cooperation with internal departments. You will contribute your expertise to rapid fault finding and implement technical solutions in customer service independently and reliably. You will document your service calls, supporting efficient processes in technical field service. You will contribute improvement ideas from daily service work to optimise our repair service. You will regularly take part in training sessions, team meetings and joint customer assignments together with your colleagues to continuously expand your specialist knowledge.

You have at least a qualified secondary school diploma. You live within the catchment area of the deployment region. With your manual dexterity and technical interest you carry out practical tasks carefully. Thoroughness, communication skills and a sense of responsibility characterise you. You have very good German language skills (at least level C1).
