About this Apprenticeship
Abi program to become a manager in food retail with qualification as retail management specialist. The program targets high school graduates and offers shortened training of 18 months with good performance.
What You'll Learn
- Conducting advisory and sales talks
- Determining merchandise requirements and merchandise disposition
- Storage and control of goods
- Structure and design of product range
- Presentation of goods and implementation of sales promotion measures
- Introduction to employee management
- Conducting personnel planning and creation of sales statistics, success controls and settlements to control and steer market performance
Requirements
- Good high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally first practical experience
- Interest in business management contexts
- Customer orientation and enjoyment in dealing with people
- Confident and self-assured demeanor
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organizational talent
- High willingness to perform and ability to maintain overview even in stressful situations
