About this Apprenticeship
A-level trainee program for management roles in grocery retail leading to a Retail Trade Specialist qualification. Training can be shortened to 18 months with good performance, includes a takeover guarantee, personal mentoring, and assignments in stores near your home.
What You'll Learn
- Conducting advisory and sales conversations
- Determining merchandise requirements and merchandise disposition
- Storage and control of goods
- Structure and design of the product range
- Presentation of goods and implementation of sales promotion measures
- Introduction to employee management
- Carrying out personnel planning and creating sales statistics, performance reviews and settlements to control and steer store performance
Requirements
- Good A-levels (Abitur) or technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur)
- Enthusiasm for grocery retail, ideally with first practical experience
- Interest in business administration contexts
- Customer orientation and enjoyment in dealing with people
- Confident and self-assured demeanor
- Assertiveness, teamwork skills, and organizational talent
- High willingness to perform and ability to keep an overview even in stressful situations
