Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH is seeking a Junior Software Integration Specialist in Bremen for a permanent full-time role. Its LEGATUS live simulation system uses laser-based equipment, radio communications and IT infrastructure to provide realistic combat training without live ammunition and immediate, detailed training analysis.

What You'll Learn

Install, configure and commission IT systems in project and customer environments
Help automate and continuously improve IT systems, tools and monitoring solutions
Create, maintain and improve technical documentation
Help administer, maintain and improve the existing server and network environment
Support the management of suppliers and subcontractors
Help assess project progress and spending

Requirements

Completed vocational training in IT, such as IT specialist training in systems integration, or an equivalent qualification
Practical experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell or Python and automation tools such as Ansible
Knowledge of common IT technologies such as Windows, Linux, network systems, virtualisation with VMware vSphere, and backup and monitoring tools including Veeam Backup and check_mk
Good spoken and written English
Curiosity about technology, initiative and a sense of responsibility
Broad basic IT knowledge and motivation to learn complex IT systems and environments and keep developing your skills
Enjoyment of working towards and achieving a shared goal as a team
Willingness to travel worldwide, with most work based at the Bremen site
