Mechatronics Technician / Electronics Technician Specializing in Automation Technology

Rheinmetall Aviation Services GmbH is looking in Weeze for a mechatronics/electronics technician for automation technology, full-time and permanent, for maintenance and servicing of robot-assisted production systems.

• Taking over electrical and mechatronic maintenance, servicing and repair of robot-assisted production systems and automated equipment
• Carrying out fault analyses and lasting fault correction on robot systems, controls and automation components
• Properly documenting maintenance, repair and servicing work according to internal and legal requirements
• Close cooperation with production, planning and quality to ensure safe, trouble-free plant operation
• Actively helping to optimize robot systems, control systems and maintenance processes
• Contributing technical improvement suggestions for continuous process and efficiency gains
• Taking over programming, parameterization and maintenance of robot systems, automated systems and mechatronic components
• Ensuring availability, operational safety and readiness of the systems in the production environment

• A completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or electronics technician (m/f/d) for automation technology or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in maintaining automated systems and robot systems, ideally in a security-sensitive environment
• Knowledge of PLC controls, robotic systems, and electrical troubleshooting and repair of European and American components
• Confident handling of circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
• A conscientious, reliable and safety-conscious way of working
• Teamwork, commitment and strong technical understanding
• English skills are desirable
• Willingness to work in a shift and on-call system
