Security Architect for Secure Communication Systems

Rohde & Schwarz is seeking an experienced Security Architect for secure communication systems in Stuttgart. This permanent, full-time software development role involves designing cryptographic devices and systems with demanding security requirements.

• Play a key role in designing cryptographic devices and systems with demanding security requirements
• Act as the main security contact within customer project teams and for external customers, such as approval authorities
• Create and assess security requirements, concepts and solutions using security design principles or standards
• Prepare security documentation, for example under Common Criteria

• Completed technical degree or a comparable qualification
• Analytical skills to quickly understand complex system relationships and explain them in concepts suited to the intended audience
• Passion and expertise in IT security, with the opportunity to contribute to a secure, connected future and see your contribution in a finished product
• Ideally experience working with approval authorities or approval processes, for example under Common Criteria
• Very good communication skills and the ability to present convincing arguments
• Very good written and spoken German and English
